The Team – Our Family The Pieterse’s are united by a shared vision of faith and service, eagerly preparing for their mission to Tanzania in February 2025. This dynamic family, led by Christo and Luanni, is committed to living out their faith through evangelism and service, bringing the message of love, hope, and compassion to a new community. At the core of this journey are their four children, each playing an essential role in the mission. Christo, 12, with his deep passion for studying the Bible, enriches the spiritual growth of those around him, eagerly sharing his insights and inspiring others with his enthusiasm for the Gospel. Alianna, 10, remains steadfast in her convictions, and as the only girl, brings a unique strength, inspiring others with her firm faith. The younger boys, Janno and Benro, are just as passionate and full of energy. Janno, 7, has a heart for evangelism, always excited to spread the message of the Lord wherever he goes. His enthusiasm and joy make him a powerful witness in his own right. Benro, at 4, has a heart of worship and is full of love, a little boy who approaches his faith with a simple, devoted spirit that touches everyone around him. Family Unit Together, the Pieterse children contribute not only to their family’s mission but also to the community they will serve. Their shared enthusiasm, curiosity, and love for Jesus form a bond that will sustain them as they embark on this new chapter in Tanzania. This family, filled with joy and passion for the Gospel, is poised to make a lasting impact, not just as individuals, but as a unit. Luanni Profile
Luanni Luanni Pieterse is a dedicated wife and mother of four, balancing the responsibilities of family life with the rewarding task of homeschooling her children. The Pieterse family embarked on a meaningful journey as missionaries in Botswana, where Luanni has been actively involved in preaching the Gospel, ministering to children and uplifting and supporting the local community since 2020. Her passion for spreading the message of love, hope, faith and compassion led her to pursue certification under the mentorship of Apostle John Eckhardt, equipping her with the knowledge and skills to make a positive impact in her ministry and missionary work. In addition to her missionary endeavours, Luanni is the founder of a Christian gifts and apparel shop, where she shares her faith through meaningful and inspiring products. Her commitment to serving others extends to her role as the co-founder of Fish and Bread Ministries International in South Africa as well as co-founder of SWEEP Missions in Botswana where she played a pivotal role in empowering and uplifting individuals through both ministries’ impactful initiatives. Luanni’s unwavering dedication to her family, her missionary work, and her commitment to spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ through her entrepreneurial and ministry endeavours exemplify her as a loving, compassionate and driven individual, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those around her. Christo Christo Pieterse, at 42 years old, is a devoted husband and father who underwent a profound transformation in 2011 when he found salvation after enduring a period of darkness and hopelessness. His personal journey ignited a deep passion for Jesus, evangelism and sharing the transformative message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, particularly with unreached people groups. As a co-founder of Fish and Bread Ministries International in South Africa, Christo has been instrumental in ministering to and serving the homeless in the streets of Johannesburg, embodying his commitment to extending compassion and support to those in need. His apostolic calling has been a guiding force in his life, propelling him to make a meaningful impact through his missionary work. Since 2020, Christo has continued his missionary endeavours as a co-founder of SWEEP Missions, where he has been actively involved in spreading the message of faith and compassion in Botswana. His unwavering dedication to his family, his ministry, and his commitment to serving others reflects his loving , compassionate and driven nature, making a profound difference in the lives of those he encounters. Christo and Luanni were appointed as regional directors for Africa of Harvest Family Network in July 2023. This significant milestone in their journey reflects their unwavering dedication and leadership in the mission field. Their new roles will provide them with the opportunity to expand their impact and further their mission of spreading the message of faith and compassion across the continent.
